RecycleMania: 2020 Recap
In 8 total weeks of competition, Temple was able to divert a total of 351, 828 pounds of recyclables from the landfill.
Because of COVID 19's impact on waste generation, Temple Sustainability joined many other schools across the nation and chose to submit competition data from only the first five weeks of regular campus operations, for a Category 2 total of 238, 378 pounds recycled and diverted.
