April 8th through April 12th is a time for celebrating sexual wellness at Temple University during Sex Ed Week. This year, we're honoring the Intersections of Pleasure, Education, and Safety as we acknowledge every individual's right to affirming sexual experiences.
The Circles of Sexuality acknowledge the many components that may make up an individual's experiences. They reflect how varied sexuality can be from person-to-person, and inform how we think about and express ourselves.
Sex Ed Week includes five days of education and entertainment opportunities to engage with on-campus. Alongside these opportunities, we welcome you to use this guide to meaningfully reflect and interact with offerings throughout the week.
Find what feels good to you, and take time this week to really listen to your body. You deserve pleasurable, affirming sexual experiences, free from coercion and full of joy 💖

Always meet in a public place
Communicate date plans with friends beforehand

Mindfulness, the practice of being present, observing thoughts nonjudgmentally, and paying attention to how our body is feeling, can be applied to sexuality. A great way to practice mindfulness is by participating in a quick mediation.
