Students can immediately get started when they land on this page. The monster gives them step by step directions that will allows them to see what happens when you input code. Keep in mind that student progress is not saved. The site includes a lesson tool for teachers should they choose to be more involved a with their student activity on the site. No student logins required.

Codemoji

Codemoji's computer science curriculum for schools allows 1st-8th grade students to learn the basics of web development and coding, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript, in a fun and easy way, allowing them to create their own websites, animations and much more with our unique and adaptable learning platform. This website supports Google login. However, accounts are optional. Students can explore content without logging in.

Made w/ Code

Though the site is not only for girls, it was created with girls in mind. Students can easily get started with projects and tutorials as soon as they land on the page. Progress is saved for students who are logged into a Chrome browser. No student logins required.

Code.org

Code.org provides the curriculum for K-12 computer science through interactive lessons. Teachers can set up a class to monitor student progress. Students log in with Google to access materials.

CS First

CS First is a coding curriculum created by Google to get students started with coding. Teachers set up a class, give students the code to get started, and students follow self-paced lessons. The curriculum can be used in the classroom or a club setting. Accounts required. Free student accounts are set up when students enter their teacher's code.

PENCILcode

Learn professional programming languages using an editor that lets you work in either blocks or text. Create art, music, games, and stories. Or invent a program that will change the world. Account login optional.
