Regularly check the course “CAA Numeracy” on My Te Kura for updates, online classes and quizzes.
Education Perfect: Your logon is your “TK (insert Te Kura ID number)” e.g. TK123456789. If you have forgotten your password, you can request a password reset from the login page or contact your teacher for assistance. The email linked to your account is your email address on My Te Kura.
Learn Coach: Log on as a student with your personal details or Te Kura Google account and you can have 20 minutes of viewing time each day for free.
Task 1: Ākonga who have not yet created their NZQA student login should do this first.
Watch this video on how to do the following:
1. Get your National Student Number (NSN)
1. Go to www.nzqa.govt.nz/login
2. Scroll down the page to the ‘Learner log in’ button
3. If you haven’t created log in, you select ‘Create or activate account’ underneath
Task 2: Complete a digital device check to make sure your laptop is ready for the online assessment portal: a. Device check
b. Prior to the assessment Disable notifications, screensaver, updates
Task 3: Check your calculator is on the list of approved calculators approved calculator.
Task 4: Check that you have suitable photo ID. If you do not, you can apply for a Te Kura

Practice 1: Complete the practice assessment in My Te Kura. To locate these, visit the numeracy CAA site, and on the menu bar navigate to assessments and quizzes:
