Huinga Ako are the space where you have an opportunity to work with a small group of students and your Kaimanaaki (Learning Advisor) on skills and strategies for success and support for planning for the future.
It’s a collaborative and fun space where you get to connect with your peers and get help with your studies. Students have told us that attending Huinga Ako makes a big difference to their learning and experience at Te Kura.
The Huinga Ako are an opportunity to learn about:
How Te Kura works.
How your Kaimanaaki can help you to get organised.
Good study habits and setting goals.
What it means to be a good supervisor.

If you would like to meet your Kaimanaaki at the Huinga Ako, please remember to RSVP beforehand to let them know you are attending.
