Kaleidoscope is the graduate student committee of CEC's Teacher Education Division (TED). Membership is open to all TED/CEC graduate student members — full- or part-time, at any stage of a doctoral program. Kaleidoscope gives student researchers a place to present their work and get feedback from faculty reviewers, and builds professional and leadership skills early in members' careers. The committee holds two graduate student symposiums a year: one at the TED conference in the fall, and one at the CEC conference in the winter/spring.
TED, the Teacher Education Division, is a division of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) focused on improving the preparation of special education teachers and teacher educators. TED members work on policy, professional development, and research tied to special education teacher preparation — and Kaleidoscope is TED's dedicated space for graduate student voice and involvement.
