The big screen experience in Ramsbury

We are moving over the summer please Click Here to find out more

The Ramsbury Roxy began in 2005 with the aim of bringing cinema to Ramsbury and the surrounding villages.

The Roxy provides an opportunity to meet with others, enjoy a night out at the cinema (and possibly a drink from our licensed bar) without the need to travel too far.

We have excellent equipment with a projector of cinematography standard, a It is 2.6m x 4.5m screen and Dolby© surround sound. Doors open at 7.15pm and films start at 8pm giving you plenty of time to buy a drink and chat with friends.

Before the film starts, we show rolling information on forthcoming films, as well as details of local groups and events in the area.

Our season is usually from September through to May with a maximum audience of 120. Tickets are available from Ramsbury Post Office we are now selling Roxy tickets additionally at Midway Stores or on the door. Please remember; popular films do sell out quickly.

The current programme is shown on this website and is also available in a leaflet which can be obtained at various locations including Ramsbury Post Office, Ramsbury Library, the Crown and Anchor and at the Memorial Hall. Suggestions for films to be considered for future programmes are always welcome; so please see our contact details on this site.

The cinema is staffed with teams of volunteers and we welcome enquiries to join our rota. Roles include front of house stewards, technicians and bar staff.

Roxy evenings are open to all, subject to film certification, and there is no membership fee. Entry is by ticket only.
