GLOBE is an ERA Fellowship project funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme. The project focuses on sustainable last-mile delivery (LMD), addressing both company logistics decisions and eco-conscious customer behavior. By adopting Optimization, Metaheuristics, and Stochastic approaches, GLOBE tackles complex two-echelon location-routing problems involving innovative transport modes (electric vans, bicycles, walking couriers) and delivery options.

The project is hosted at the Centre for Management Studies (CEGIST), within  Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa,  in collaboration with Portugues Companies working in the area.
