Not at all! You don't need a pre-existing startup idea to join Techstars Startup Weekend. Many participants come with an open mind, ready to collaborate and contribute to other teams' ideas. It's a great opportunity to brainstorm and work on innovative projects, even if you don't arrive with a concept in mind.
Teams are often formed through a collaborative process at the beginning of the event. Participants have the chance to pitch their ideas, and then everyone votes on their favorites. Teams naturally come together around the most popular ideas. It's a fantastic way to meet like-minded individuals and create diverse, dynamic teams.
