Parent Committees:
Food and Events Committee-plans build season meals and events in conjunction with the team (such as Late Nighter, Robot Reveal or End of Year Banquet) for the team (sporadic throughout the year)
Travel Committee-plans travel to competitions for the team (mostly spring semester, booking hotels, ordering meals, helping out on the bus or in the stands as needed, etc)
Sponsorship Committee-assists team members in reaching out to local companies to raise money for dues and travel expenses, reaches out to potential donors (mostly fall semester)
Mentors:
Do have experience in programming, construction, business, or another area that might benefit the team? Do you have time in the evenings to spend with the team as they work on building the practice field, marketing for our team and sponsors, and building and programming the robot? If so, we would love to have you share your expertise and join us as a mentor!
All volunteers must have a criminal history background check done prior to volunteering at school. If you are a new volunteer, please make certain you have a completed Criminal History Background Check on file. If you have multiple students who attend multiple schools in Carmel, you only need one criminal background check. Your student's school administration will be contacted when the criminal background report is complete.
