You might know my cousin, he's part of your imagination. I'm the other purple dragon, it's nice to meet you. I'm Sparky, that Spark of Inspiration! I travel around to different areas while my friends are presenting at schools and conferences.

Sparky started out of an idea for a Flat Stanley style object for social media posts. Although many toys were considered, eventually my love of Figment led to the decision to find a purple dragon.
Filled with inspiration, I discovered Sparky while shopping. Their original name was Spark and they are a Ty Beanie Ball. Considering my Beanie Baby collection in the 90s, I knew it was perfect. They're the size of a tennis ball and has a beanie base to keep from rolling away.
Sparky easily fits in my bag and they'll join me moving forward whether I'm at a school, a conference, or just on the go. Since my travels are sporadic, so will the Sparky posts but I plan to infuse other inspirational posts between travels.
Version 2.0. Platfrom is superglued to the stick and was already rotating when this picture was taken.
Sparky is super proud of their selfie stick (verson 3.0). The idea came from Unnecessary Inventions when Matty Benedetto made a phone mount for a coffee caddy. Sparky's selfie stick began with trying to make something from scratch but I quickly realized I'm not good enough (yet) at CAD software.
Version 1.0 was just using a rubberband to hold Sparky to the end of the selfie stick.
Version 2.0 looked like 3.0 but the modular pieces spun too much and Sparky kept falling off.
Version 3.0 (current model) has notches on the modular pieces to hold them steady.
Version 4.0 (next generation) will maybe have a way to keep it steadier. Right now it's not well balanced.
