This summer, TECH CORPS will implement its new Smart Cities Techie Camp with middle school students across the country!

Throughout Smart Cities, students investigate how technology and artificial intelligence (AI) support decision-making in communities. Students work with data, sensors, and intelligent systems to understand city challenges, test solutions, improve them with evidence, and consider real-world impacts like safety, fairness, and accessibility. Students learn how AI is used across careers to support human decisions and why responsible use matters. Each Smart Cities camp concludes with students presenting their final projects to their parents and peers on Friday afternoon.

Student Enrollment Process

Students will be enrolled in Smart Cities camps on a "first-come, first-served" basis after payment is submitted and until all spots are filled. Please note that Techie Camps are made possible through the generous support of different funding partners. As a result, eligibility requirements for participation vary by the program sponsor and host site in each area. Registrations will NOT be accepted if the student does not meet the eligibility requirement(s).

Families will receive email confirmations for their registration, payment, and program enrollment.
