My name is Anshu Trikha Bansal and I am so thrilled to be your child's 4th grade teacher! I am very grateful to have an opportunity to work with young minds and give opportunities to students to grow and reach their goals! I was born in New Jersey and have lived here since. I received my B.S. in Environmental and Business Economics from Rutgers University in 2011 and my B.A. in Psychology from Kean University in 2014. I found the opportunity to fulfill my dream of becoming an elementary school and middle school math teacher at Rider University which I completed in April 2015. I always love an opportunity to travel, explore and learn about different cultures and ways of life. I love to learn how to cook foods from all around the world and am always looking for new ingredients. I also love to paint and do at home art projects!
As a teacher, I want to create a warm, comfortable, and nurturing environment where all children can learn skills and concepts that will prepare them to continue on their educational path with confidence and proficiency. I want to encourage curiosity and creativity, as well as encourage and develop the strengths of each child through a child-centered, hands-on learning environment. I believe in children being actively involved in learning by interacting with their peers, environment, and the teachers. My expectations for my students are high, but I have no doubt that all of my students are capable of reaching or even surpassing them with help from their peers and myself. Elementary and Middle school Education are important stepping stones on the path to higher education. A good work ethic is important to your child’s success in meeting those objectives. I will expect each student to put forth his or her best effort.
