Directors' Message

The Teaneck Department of Special Education exists to support a wide range of diverse needs among our entire student population, serving children with varying abilities ages 3 through 21. The district’s newly defined vision is The Teaneck Advantage: Educational Excellence for ALL. In the Department of Special Education, we are committed to identifying and meeting the diverse needs of each student through individualized educational programming. It is our mission to work cooperatively with families, students, community, colleagues, and other professionals in order to promote each student's success and well-being as he/she/they prepare for future endeavors. We look forward to working with the talented teachers, staff, parents/guardians, and most importantly, student body here in Teaneck.
