Greetings Loon Lake Community!
My name is Dan Love, and I am thrilled to be a part of Loon Lake Elementary this year. For the 2020-21 school year, I was an "Our Path" teacher with 3rd graders from Loon Lake, Mary Helen Guest, and Walled Lake Elementary Schools. Previsouly, I served as the Head Teacher at Meadowbrook Elementary. I am looking forward to teaching and learning live and in-person for the 2021-22 school year!
I have been a teacher in Walled Lake Schools for 23 years. I have also taught at Dublin and Commerce, and my positions have been in both the classroom and media center. I am an aspiring principal, and I am eager to learn and grow while serving the students, staff, and families of Loon Lake.
My wife and I have 2 sons who are both Walled Lake students in 5th and 10th grades. My interests include reading, movies, sports, and lots of family time. I'm a huge baseball fan and my beloved Detroit Tigers.
