I began working as the two year old room's assistant teacher, until I earned my lead teacher credential. It wasn't long before I knew I wanted to go back to school for education. So I did. I was thrilled to fall in love with Alverno College's Education program, through which I earned my teaching license (Birth - 5th Grade) and a Master of Arts in Education.
I served my field work in two K4 classrooms in Milwaukee Public Schools and I student taught in a split level K4/K5 classroom in the West Allis - West Milwaukee School District in the Fall semester of the 20 - 21 school year. I student taught 100% virtually, which was an experience for sure! I was so amazed by what these Kinders could do and learn, even under such hard circumstances. I was overjoyed to be hired for their second semester as a long - term sub for my field students as well as a Math Specialist primarily for grades 3 - 5 and a building sub for my school after long - term subbing. It was a year filled with an immense amount of learning and memory making with my students! After that, I was lucky enough to learn about Dimensions of Learning Academy and landed my dream job in my dream grade! Dimensions has been a perfect fit.
Teaching Kindergarten has always been my dream job and I am overjoyed to be working with your family this year! We are going to do great things and make so many memories!
