Hello! My name is Mary Witt and I am excited to say this is my 17^th year teaching at Washington Middle School. My first 5 years at Washington I taught Family and Consumer Sciences and since then I have been teaching 7^th grade Science. I grew up in Paddock Lake, Wisconsin and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I received my teaching certification and a Masters in Education from National Louis University. I enjoy watching movies, cooking, travelling, cheering on the Packers, and spending time with my daughter.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with you and your child this school year. My goals for the year are to promote a positive classroom climate, foster cooperation and respect for others, and make learning a safe, challenging, yet fun experience.
