My name is Brian Zielsdorf and I’m teaching 5th grade to your son or daughter this year.  Since the new school year is just getting underway, I wanted to introduce myself, and let you know how to contact me if necessary for any reason.

I am a life-long resident of Kenosha.  I’ve been married to my wife, Vicki, for 32 years.  We have two children, Katherine, who is 31 years old and teaches gifted and talented students in Mesa, Arizona, and Eric, who is 28, is a middle and high school band director in Indianapolis, Indiana.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1991, I spent 16 years working in the business world.  Finally, at that point, I decided to start my journey to become a teacher.  In 2008, I completed my graduate program and obtained my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from National Louis University.

After teaching middle school for five years, I spent eleven years teaching 5th grade at McKinley Elementary School.  After a great first year at Pleasant Prairie last year, I am really looking forward to the new school year.

I’m looking forward to getting to know your child this school year.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  I’ve listed my contact information below, so please don’t hesitate to contact me.
