In 2009, the Harborside Foundation established an endowment fund for the purpose of providing scholarships to selected Harborside students for their post-secondary education. In order to raise money for our endowment fund, Harborside Foundation host two fundraiser events a year:
The first event, our Bowl-a-thon, occurs late February or early March and is a family friendly event.
The second event, our golf outing, occurs on the second Saturday in May (weather permitting) and is open to adults 21 and over.

The money acquired from the interest of our endowment fund allows the Foundation to award 4 scholarships to deserving students of Harborside Academy through the Angela Edwards Scholarship Fund.
The money acquired from the interest of our endowment fund allows the Foundation to award 4 scholarships to deserving students of Harborside Academy through the Angela Edwards Scholarship Fund.
These scholarships have started with amounts totaling $500 and have increased over time to $1500 each.
Our hope is as we continue to host fundraiser events that the scholarships will also continue to grow in value and/or quantity!
