Meet the Teacher

Hello and welcome to the Strange Library Learning Commons.  I am Mrs. Palmer, the library media specialist at Curtis Strange Elementary School. I have been an educator since 1988 and a part of the Curtis Strange family since 1990. My teaching experience includes being a classroom teacher in grades 3-6, a technology teacher, and a library media specialist. 

I received my teaching degree at UW- Parkside and a master’s degree from Lesley College in computers in education. I enjoy playing games, building puzzles, gardening, walking, hiking, and outdoor activities. When I am not not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have three sons two daughters, and a pet goldendoodle.  I love reading books, and my favorite genre is nonfiction.
