Scholastic is providing the following service for all closed schools! Just go to the website below. It is very easy to sign up, and again, I recommend book-marking this page and saving the password for your child. We will use it again!

Once you have signed in, click on the link to BookFlix. On the homepage of BookFlix, click the category Earth and Sky. Then choose the books about Gravity.

For today, I would like you to listen to the stories. Then tell someone at home what gravity is and why it is important. Tomorrow you will try your own gravity experiment!

Yesterday, you logged into BookFlix and read books about gravity. I provided the link below again, in case you needed it.

Today, I want you to explore gravity! Grab some UNBREAKABLE objects around the house. Drop two objects at the same time. See which one hits the floor first. It is very helpful to use the slow motion recording option on your phone!

What did you discover? Did the weight of the object affect how fast it fell? DId the size or shape affect the fall? Did all objects hit the ground at the same time?
