About Me...
I graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a Biology degree and also got my alternative teaching certification from LSU-S as well. I have been in education since 1998. Prior to becoming a counselor, I taught high school science and math. After teaching a while, I discovered my calling to become a Professional School Counselor. I obtained my M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma. I absolutely love working with the scholars here and am proud to be affectionately known as the "mom of the middle school". My favorite colors are glitter and sparkle.
My Family...
I have been married for almost 25 years! My husband and I are both advanced SCUBA divers and LOVE to travel to go to different diving locations & have adventures! Our kiddos are very active and keep us busy!
Siggy
Hopefully, at some point, I hope to be able to have Siggy up at the office as an "animal interventionist". Dreams are possible... this is one of mine!!! Fingers crossed that it happens someday!!

Canvas Classroom
I may have activities and virtual check-ins for scholars to complete during our time together. These will be through my Canvas Classroom. All scholars will have an invitation waiting in Canvas to join their grade level counseling classroom after the first week of school. If not, please email me and let me know!
