Meet Mrs. DJ's dog, Ren!

Mrs. DeJarnett (formerly known as Miss Marshall) is the music specialist at Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary School. This is Mrs. DeJarnett's fourth year at VZG and she cannot believe her first group of 2nd graders are now 5th graders!

Mrs. DJ graduated with her Bachelor of Music Education with a vocal concentration from Texas Christian University in December 2016 and took her first job as a 6th-8th grade middle school choir director in Temple, TX. While Mrs. DJ's main instrument is her voice, she also enjoys playing the guitar, piano (but only a little), recorder, ukulele, venova, and theramin.

Some of Mrs. DJ's favorite things to do are spend time with her family at home (and two cats and dog), go camping far away in a tent, listen to ASMR, learn new funny jokes, kick it with her Nintendo Switch, and play in her garden at home.
