Steven Andrews
I was born in the Republic of Panama where I grew up. My mother's family is from Costa Rica. My wife Cinda and I have worked at South Hills HS for over 25 years. I am the father of two children, one who teaches in a Texas high school and also coaches soccer.
World History Teacher
I have been teaching in the FWISD for 35 years and am beginning my 26th year of teaching social studies at South Hills. I have a BS/ED from Midwestern State University with a major in social studies, as well as an MA in Education from the University of North Texas in Denton.
Head Coach Boys Soccer at South Hills HS
I founded the South Hills boys' varsity program 25 years ago and have been blessed with: over 350 career wins, 8 district championships, and 12 playoff wins.
I hold the following soccer coaching licenses:
National USSF C, Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol B, and the NSCAA Advanced Coaching Diploma. I have been lifetime youth and select soccer coach, as player development has been a long-time passion.
I have been honored to have coached many NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, ODP, and National Team athletes. Both my daughter and son were NCAA soccer players.
I am looking forward to applying my tactical and player development philosophies with our players and teams to create the best teams and individual players in the area. I have a strong belief that the positional games and rondos training approach will take players to the next level. I am excited to get to work with players who love the game of soccer!
