Aubrey Kistler, Head Director, is in her eighth year of teaching and seventh year at Southwest High School. She graduated with honors from Texas Christian University obtaining her Bachelor of Music Education degree. While at Southwest, Ms. Kistler has grown the Choral Program exponentially through classroom culture, communication, and community outreach. In the past seven years, she has taken several choirs to compete at UIL, began Fort Worth ISD's only competitive show choir, and has brought home several regional, state, and several Southwest Show Choir national titles.

"Creating excellence is a habit, not a skill." Ms. Kistler is proud of all the student accomplishment that has taken place in the choir program and looks forward to many more successful years to come!

Leanna Noblett, Associate Director, is in her eighth year of teaching and second year at Southwest High School. Before working at Southwest, Ms. Noblett began her career in Keller ISD as a 5th/6th grade music teacher and associate middle school director. After two years, Ms. Kistler recruited her to be a part of the Southwest Pyramid team as the head choral director at Wedgwood Middle School. Four years later, she was able to join Ms. Kistler at Southwest! Also a Texas Christian University graduate, Ms. Noblett is proud to take her education from this University to help transform Title 1 choral programs. Since then, Southwest Choir is extremely lucky to have Ms. Noblett on board. She brings knowledge of classroom culture, 20+ years of piano playing, and strong organizational skills to the program. Ms. Noblett is looking forward to another year of music making!
