Ms. Jimenez-Pre-K

Hello! My name is Azucena Jimenez, and I will be your child's teacher this coming school year.

I teach Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I attended Texas Wesleyan University and graduated with a Bachelor's in Bilingual Education.

When I am not in school, I love spending time with my friends and family, baking, watching anime, and reading.

I am starting my 4th year teaching and this will be my second year in PK. We are going to have a great year together!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Azucena Jimenez y seré la maestra de su hijo/a este año escolar.
Soy la maestra de lecto-escritura, matemáticas, ciencias y estudios sociales. Asistí a la Universidad de Texas Wesleyan y me gradué con una licenciatura en Educación Bilingüe.
Cuando no estoy en la escuela, me encanta pasar tiempo con mis amigos y familiares, hornear, ver anime y leer.Este sera mi cuarto año como maestra y mi segundo año en Pre-K. ¡Vamos a tener un gran año juntos!

Ms. Espitia-Pre-K

Hello, My name is Florisa Espitia and I am going to be your new Pre- kindergarten teacher. This will be my twelfth year teaching. I was previously teaching kindergarten at Springdale Elementary. I am so excited to be your teacher!!

I grew up in Del Rio, Texas with my parents and five siblings. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in early childhood-grade 6 bilingual education from Texas Wesleyan University. I am the proud mother of a 25-year-old son who is serving in the Army National Guard and is a firefighter for the city of Fort Worth..

I love my coffee, reading, working out and spending time with friends and family. Looking forward to meeting you soon. I know it is going to be a wonderful year. Together we can accomplish anything.

Hola, mi nombre es Florisa Espitia y voy a ser tu nueva maestra de Pre-kindergarten. Este será mi 12 año de enseñanza. Anteriormente estaba enseñando jardín de niños (kinder) en Springdale Elementary. Estoy muy emocionado de ser tu maestra!!

Crecí en Del Rio, Texas con mis padres y cinco hermanos. Me gradué con una licenciatura en educación bilingüe de grado 6 - a primera infancia de la Universidad Texas Wesleyan. Soy la orgullosa madre de un hijo de 25 años que está sirviendo en la Guardia Nacional del Ejército y es un bombero para la ciudad de Fort Worth.

Ms. Keener - Pre-K

I have been a teacher at South Hi Mount for 24 years. I attended The University of Texas. I enjoy reading, computer games, arts and crafts, and my dogs. I love teaching Pre-K!

Ms. Ibarra-Kinder

Hello my name is Sarahi Ibarra- Ruiz. This is going to be my 2nd year at South Hi Mount. I graduated from Gran Canyon University. I have a 12-year-old daughter. I teach bilingual kindergarten; I have taught Pre-K through the Head Start program. Teaching is my passion. I'm most excited about the children. Making sure that when I teach them, that they learn, motivating and supporting them. The thing that I enjoy the most is spending time with my daughter, teaching, and reading.

Hola mi nombre es Sarahi Ibarra-Ruiz. Este va a ser mi segundo año en South Hi Mount. Me gradué de la Universidad del Gran Cañón. Tengo una hija de 12 años. doy clases de kínder bilingüe; He enseñado Pre-K a través del programa Head Start. Enseñar es mi pasión. Estoy muy entusiasmado con los niños. Ms. Campuzano-Kinder

I am from Dallas, TX and moved to Fort Worth in 2008 to attend Texas Christian University. I have taught for 9 years. What I love about teaching is making learning fun and building lifelong relationships with my students!

Naci y creci en Dallas, TX y me mudé a Fort Worth en el 2008 para asistir a TCU. He enseñado durante 9 años. ¡Lo que me encanta de ser maestra es hacer que el aprendizaje sea divertido y construir relaciones de por vida con mis estudiantes!

Mrs. Garrison-Kinder

This is my 21st year of teaching at South Hi Mount. I've taught pre-k, kindergarten and 1st grade. I graduated from West Texas A&M in with a Bachelors of Science in Education. I am married and have a son. I enjoy watching movies with my family and traveling. What I love most about teaching is seeing my students grow academically and making connections with them.

Este es mi vigésimo primero ano en South Hi Mount. He ensañado Kínder, Pre-k, y primer grado. Me gradué de West Texas A & M con un bachillerato en ciencias de educación. Estoy casada y tengo un hijo. Me encanta mirar películas con mi familia y viajar. Lo que me gusta más de ser maestra es mirar a los estudiantes crecer académicamente y hacer conexiones con ellos.

Ms. Lopez-Kinder

Hey y’all! My name is Gabriela Lopez but most people call me Gabby! I am so very excited to have your littles in my classroom. I began teaching in August 2002. I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in health science. I moved to Fort Worth about a two years ago and have enjoyed my time exploring the city. I love crafting, cooking/baking, working out, yoga, dancing, singing, traveling and learning new things.

I am thrilled for the coming school year here at South Hi Mount and to be a part of the Colt Family! I look forward to collaborating with my fellow teachers, cooperating with the parents and cultivating the minds of the students!

!Hola a todos! Me llamo Gabriela Lopez, pero la mayoria de la gente me llaman Gabby. Estoy muy emociondad de tener a sus chiquititos en mi salon. Este es mi primer ano de ser una maestra de kinder y estoy lista para las memorias que vamos a hacer. Me gradue de West Texas A&M University con un bachillerato en ciencias de salud. Me mude a Fort Worth hace mas o menos un ano y me he gustado explorando la ciudad. Me gusta hacer manualidades, cocinar/hornear, hacer ejercicios, yoga, bailar, cantar, viajar, y aprendar cosas nuevas.

!Estoy mas que emocionada para este ano escolar y para ser parte de la familia Colt! Np puedo esperar colaborar con los otros maestros, los padres y cultivar las mentes de los estudiantes.
