- It is REALLY important to me that you learn to love something, anything, about the possibilities of your future before you leave my class.
- Laughter is extremely important to my daily life. Please make me laugh!
- This will be my seventeenth year teaching at SHHS and 25th year overall.
- I was the Theatre Director on this campus for 14 years, but I wanted to change so that I could be with my family after school instead of directing late night rehearsals. But, I will still be helping with theatre...so, you will also know about theatre events and shows.
- I am "older" than Mr. Smith, the Astronomy teacher, therefore I'm the smartest. (Be sure to tell him I said this.....)
- I am married to Bernie Scheffler and together we have a 7th grader and 9th grader, plus two dogs, three cats, and four guinea pigs! (I also feed a nightly raccoon, so I should probably count him as well.)
- I LOVE music. I will play music a lot at my desk. (Prince was the greatest musician to live during my lifetime and I am still affected by his untimely death.)
- I am the campus sponsor for the National Honor Society. If you receive an invitation to apply this year, DO IT!!!!!!!!!
- My room is a safe place where any student can come and talk to me about almost anything.
- I am so excited to see you in person!
