I am excited to serve in my 18th year as a music educator. I hold a Master of Music in Opera Performance from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music from Texas Wesleyan University.
I have ten year old twins, and my husband is a theater teacher. I have two Boston Terriers named Daisy and Minnie, and a cat named Yoda. I am a big Star Trek fan, and love watching the Dallas Cowboys.
We love going on road trips in our RV during the summers. Our favorite destination is Disney World in Florida!

The Choral and Elementary Music Department is designed to ignite and foster a life-long love of and involvement in music. Beginning in elementary school, each child has the opportunity to learn about vocal and instrumental music through songs, dances, and games from diverse cultures, as well as be engaged in concepts leading to music understanding and literacy.
FWISD Vision: To provide each child with opportunities to explore and strengthen their musical abilities, their language and reasoning skills, their cognition and coordination; as well as give them a sense of achievement, personal confidence, self-expression, and creativity through an artistic lens. These experiences prepare 21st-century students for a more far-reaching workforce.

We skipped the beach this summer and paid a visit to Montana to visit Yellowstone National Park.
We saw beautiful scenery, bears, bald eagles, elk, buffalo, and so much more!
