Ms. Brooks has been in education for more than 20 years. She attended UTA for her undergraduate and Tarleton for Masters and Doctoral Degrees. She is in the completion stage of her dissertation. At South Hills High School, Ms. Brooks supports students with varied needs. She works with all students to break down content to an understandable level.

Ms. Brooks enjoys spending time with her kitties and is often found supporting the local animal shelter by fostering dogs in need. She enjoys supporting the extra-curricular programs by attending events outside of the school day. 

She has a passion for guiding students to their potential far past the time the students spend with her in the classroom. In her opinion, she believes in all students achieving their full potential, no matter their circumstances.
