My name is Rachel Cadena and I am excited to be your teacher. I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and currently live in Joshua, Texas. I am married and have five children. I also have one fur baby, my dog Spottie. We are a busy family and enjoy family movie nights, playing outside, and eating out.

I have a bachelor's degree in Christian ministries and business administration from Dallas Baptist University. I am currently working on my master's degree in curriculum and instruction at Tarleton State University. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2021.

I love to learn! I believe that education is a powerful tool that teaches a person how to think and use knowledge to change to the world. My goal as an educator is to cultivate a love for learning and knowledge that will stay with my students long after they leave my class.
