Welcome to the Psychological Services Department, where we are dedicated to ensuring every student's success and emotional well-being. Our team offers a wide array of services, tailored to meet the unique needs of our students and their families.


Empowering Families:  Our department is committed to empowering families by providing the necessary tools, resources, and support to enhance the learning experience of all students, including those with autism.


Creating Positive Learning Environments: We focus on cultivating positive and productive learning environments throughout our schools, with a particular emphasis on behavior support and the promotion of positive behavior in students.


Uncovering Effective Solutions: We specialize in identifying and implementing effective solutions to address challenging behaviors, working closely with school campuses to ensure students' needs are met.


Fostering Future Professionals: Our department is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of professionals in the field of school psychology, ensuring a bright future for our students and schools.

WHO WE ARE

Autism In-Home/Parent Trainer

    • Our Autism In-Home/Parent Trainer offers in-home training and parent guidance, facilitates our Autism Family Support Group, and publishes a monthly Autism newsletter. We provide the tools, education, resources, and strategies necessary to promote your child's learning across all settings. 

Behavior Interventionists & Coaches

    •  Our Behavior Interventionists & Coaches provide campus-based behavior support, teacher consultations, and specialize in de-escalation techniques. We offer behavior training and support the implementation of individualized behavior plans for students. 

Board Certified Behavior Analysts

    • Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts work collaboratively with school campuses to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, uncovering the root causes of challenging behaviors and developing tailored intervention strategies. 

School Psychologists

    • Our School Psychologists play a crucial role in the educational ecosystem. They conduct special education evaluations, design behavior assessments and interventions, offer consultation and direct services, provide family support, crisis response and intervention, manage cases, and support the entire school community. 

Pre-Doctoral & Specialist Level Interns

    • Under the guidance of our Licensed Specialists in School Psychology, our pre-doctoral and specialist-level interns are honing the skills and knowledge required to become self-sufficient, well-rounded School Psychologists. 

Social Service Specialists

    • Our Social Service Specialists focus on the holistic well-being of students. They deliver home-school-community care, provide crisis support, lead campus-based trainings, work on building campus equity, offer case management, and conduct home visits as needed.

Psychological Services Department staff practice in a manner that is consistent with district and department policies, state and federal laws and established rules for the ethical and competent practice of psychology. The department supports the continuing professional development of its staff and those who seek to become providers of psychological services.
