Advanced Placement

All students taking an AP course need to have a College Board account and get registered in their online College Board AP class. The online AP class is designed by College Board to provide you with resources to prepare for your AP test in May. To join your AP online class, you will need to get your "join" code from your teacher. Use the following instructions for getting set up in your AP online course.

When you register for your class, be sure to indicate whether or not you want to order an exam. All AP exams are now ordered directly by the student. If you are not registered in an AP class, you will not be able to order a test. The school can no longer order exams on your behalf. The deadline for ordering your exams is usually the first week of October so it is best for you to set up your exam choice when you register in the class. Also, keep in mind that if you order a test and then decide not to take the test, you will be charged a $40 fee from College Board. And, if you don't order a test and decide later you really do want to order a test, it will cost you $40. Late tests cannot be ordered after March 13.
