(9/15) Future of Privacy Scholarship : $5000
• Must be currently enrolled in either a high school, undergraduate school or graduate school, which can be located anywhere in the world.
(9/17) We The Future Scholarship Contest : $1000
• The High School Contest is open to all United States citizens or legal residents who are students in grades 9-12 and are 14 to 19 years old at the time of entry
• Attending public, private, religious, home school program and charter schools.
• Students must attend school in one of the 50 States, District of Columbia, all U.S. Territories, or American Armed Forces Schools abroad.
• Submissions due no later than 11:59 p.m. September 17, 2022 to WeTheFuture2022@yahoo.com with subject line: HIGH SCHOOL ENTRY
(9/19) Youth Free Expression Scholarship : $1000
• Must be either living in the U.S. or its territories (but need not be citizens)
• Must be age 19 or younger on the day the film is submitted.
(9/27) Questbridge College Match Program : Full Ride
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Academic criteria based on GPA, class rank, course selection, SAT/ACT and AP scores, essay and teacher recommendations
• Leadership and community activities
(9/30) "Shout It Out" Scholarship" : $1500
• Be 14 years of age or older at the time of application
• Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia
• Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2027) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education
• Submit an online written response to the question: "If you could say one thing to the entire world at once, what would it be and why?" (250 words or less)
(9/30) Caring Community Scholarship : $2000
• Applicant is a U.S. citizen currently enrolled or about to attend an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the United States.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
(9/30) Don't Text & Drive Scholarship : $1000
• Must be in high school grades 9-12 or a current graduate entering college or a graduate school student at any level. Home schooled students are eligible.
• There is no age limit
• Must be a US Citizen or legal resident
(9/30) Cirkled In “No Sweat” Scholarship : $2500
• Legal resident of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia
• 13 years or older
• Currently enrolled in 8th -12th grade in an accredited school or home schooled
(9/30) Rising Star Scholarship : $1000
• Financial need
• Exceptional work ethic
• Strength in the face of adversity
• Outstanding academic achievement
• Commitment to the local community and charitable giving
• Ability to lead others
• Overall moral character
(9/30) Achieving Your Goals Scholarship : $1000
• Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law program within the United States.
• High school seniors who will be enrolled in college before the application deadline.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
(10/08) AES Engineering Scholarship : $500
• Must submit an essay of between 500 - 1000 words in answer to the following question: When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey?
• Submit essay to: scholarships@aesengineers.com. There is no application packet for this award. Please do not include your resume at this time. Be sure to include your full name as well as the name of the school you are attending this year and your plans for next year.
(10/31) Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship : $2000
• Be 14 years old or older
• Be legal U.S. residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia
• Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2027) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning
• Submit an online written response to the question: "Imagine that your high school or college has been overrun with zombies. Your math professor, the cafeteria ladies, and even your best friend have all joined the walking dead. Flesh out a plan to avoid the zombies, including where you’d hide and the top-five things you’d bring to stay alive." (250 words or less)
(11/30) Education Matters Scholarship : $5000
• Be fourteen (14) years of age or older at the time of application
• Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia
• Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2027) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher learning
• Submit an online written response to the question: “What would you say to someone who thinks education doesn’t matter, or that college is a waste of time and money?” (250 words or less)
(12/1) Herrman & Herrman Innovation Scholarship Essay Contest : $1000
• Open to high school seniors, and students currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year undergraduate program at a college, university or technical school in Texas.
(12/31) Comedy Defensive Driving Scholarship : $1500
• Open to students planning on or currently attending an accredited college, university or continuing education program.
• Design an advertisement that will educate the public about the dangers of distracted driving, and convince them with a clear call to action not to text and drive, drink and drive, eat and drive, or any other distraction you choose to focus on. You may focus on distracted driving as a whole, or pick a specific kind of distracted driving, but the message/focus of your advertisement must be clear.
