COACH Mike McGonnagil

Coach Mike McGonagill comes to Paschal High School this year with a background in tennis that includes 30 years as a tennis professional at clubs, camps and resorts from California to Mexico and Texas. Coach McGonagill made the switch to high school tennis 10 years ago and since then, has been voted coach of the year in 2016 and accompanied multiple student athletes to state five years in a row while in Borger, TX.

Coach Mcgonagill is excited to be here and comes to Paschal with lots of enthusiasm and high expectations.

Coach Sarah Carlson

Coach Carlson has spent all of her life in the Fort Worth area. She graduated from Texas Christian University in 2016 with a Secondary English Education degree. She met her husband Jake in college, and they got married two months after she graduated from TCU. She then began her career at Paschal High School as an English teacher and Varsity Assistant track coach. For the past four years, she has been part of the track and field program at Paschal, specifically coaching all of the hurdlers. With Coach Carlson’s guidance, the girls track program has seen significant growth and many Paschal hurdlers have made it out of district to the area and regional meet for the past two years. This year will be her third year as one of the assistant tennis coaches for Paschal. She is passionate about her student athletes and always pushes them and encourages them to be the best they can be and to hold nothing back. Coach Carlson is a lifelong learner of physical fitness, having been an athlete herself all of her life, and hopes to continue to learn in order to be the best coach she can be to student athletes.

Coach Alfredo Martinez-reyes

Coach Martinez was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance in 2014, and received his Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas in 2019. Coach Martinez is married, and together they have two corgis. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and playing tennis.

Coach Martinez is excited to join the Paschal Tennis team and help grow this incredible program.
