Hello, I'm Mr. Perez and I'm excited for the year we have ahead of us. I am originally from Inglewood, California. Things were not easy growing up, so I looked for ways to make a life I could be proud of. I originally went to college with the intent of becoming a doctor, but over the years of studying, I found my heart was more committed to social work.

I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020 with a bachelors in Biochemistry. I am now currently enrolled in Relay Graduate School of Education in pursuit of a Masters in the Arts of Teaching Science.

I have too many hobbies to count including: guitar, jewelry-making, music, poetry, painting, gardening, writing, electronics, cooking, dancing, cars, video-editing, and science.

In our classes, we will emphasize the importance of culture and history and how they contribute to the world we see around us. More importantly, we will use that power of knowledge to plan out what can be changed as well.
