The AP Capstone program at Paschal is a rigorous, academically challenging program that helps to prepare students for 4 year college and beyond.
Students are required to take all honors level or above in all of their core classes (English, social studies, science, math) all four years in the program. Additionally, students will take the two AP Capstone courses: AP Seminar in 9th or 10th grade and AP Research in 11th or 12 grade.
These courses equip students with research, collaborative teamwork, and communication skills that are highly valued by colleges. Students who earn a 3 or better on both Capstone exams as well as 4 additional AP exams of their choosing, will be eligible for the College Board Capstone Diploma. Students who earn a 3 or better on both Capstone exams but not 4 additional AP exams will earn a College Board Capstone Certificate.
