About Me!

Greetings!

My name is Carlee Byrd and I am so excited to be part of the Overton Park community. I have been an educator for 15 years with Fort Worth ISD. I live down the street from the school with my husband, Josh, and our two daughters, Quinn who is 8 and in third grade at OPE and Astrid who is 11 and a 6th grader at Young Women's Leadership Academy.

I love to garden, listening to podcasts, and reading Stephen King novels. My family also enjoys camping and traveling to State Parks including Garner State Park and Mineral Wells State Park.

I am an alumna of TCU for my undergrad and Tarleton State University for graduate school. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership.

My passion is helping students achieve their potential and to get to know their sparkling personalities!
