Ms. Carol R. Shores
Ms. Shores currently teaches 6th grade Science at Morningside Middle School. This will be her 5th year at Morningside Middle School. Ms. Shores graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of Texas at Arlington where she received her Mid-Level Education Teacher Certification for Mathematics and Science. She has since received her Teacher Certification for English as a Second Language (ESL) and Mid-Level Generalist. Ms. Shores also earned her Masters of Education Curriculum and Instruction of Mathematics Education degree at The University of Texas at Arlington. Ms. Shores has taught both Mathematics and Science. She is the Academic UIL Coordinator for Morningside Middle School. She enjoys spending time with her 19 nieces and nephews, her three dogs and three cats.
