About Me

Welcome to my page! I spent the past 14th year teaching Science at Rosemont Middle School. Before teaching, I worked in the medical field. I have 2 children that will be in the 8th grade and 12th grade this school year. I am now working as a 7th grade counselor at the Leadership Academy of Forest Oak.

EDUCATION

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a teaching certification from Tartleton State University, a Master's degree in School counseling from University of Texas-Tyler, and a Certification in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. I am currently working on my Licensed Professional Counseling certification.

VOLLEYBALL

I have been one of the volleyball coaches at Rosemont Middle School for the past 5 years. The 2020-2021 school year will be my final year as a volleyball coach at Rosemont.

SOCCER

I have assisted in soccer for the past 3 years and last year would have been my first year as the head soccer coach. Let's see what this season brings! The new coach for the 2020-2021 school year at Rosemont will be Ms. Castillo!
