Hello, my name is Ofelia Muñoz and I will be your 3rd grade teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. This is my 11th year teaching and it is my 6th year at Springdale Elementary. I graduated from Texas Woman's University in 2010. One of my favorite subjects as a child was reading, and I also love to teach it. I have many favorite books that I will share with you this year.

I have three beautiful daughters. Alexus is 18 years old and is attending college this year, Elaine is 16 years old and is a junior this year in high school and is also a member of the cheer team and last but not least is the little Katherine, she is 12 years old and will be in 7th grade this year. She also was once a Springdale Eagle. I am very proud of the three of them.

One of my most favorite things is Classic Hot Rod cars, I love to go the races and watch them go down the drag strip. I hope to one day own one of those beauties!
