Reading: Students will be learning to live literate lives. How to pick books of interest, make connections with the text and ask questions as they are reading. Simply building good reading routines and habits.

Writing: Students will explore topics and ideas to plan and draft a personal narrative to connect with an audience of peers

Word Study: Students will use context clues and resources, such as dictionaries, to determine the meaning of words used in context as well as decode and spell multisyllabic words with an emphasis on suffixes, Greek roots, synonyms, and antonyms.

Science: Students will demonstrate lab safety and lab procedures.
