Business Information Management I - students implement personal and interpersonal skills to strengthen individual performance in the workplace and in society and make a successful transition to the workforce and postsecondary education. Students apply basic technical skills to address business applications of emerging technologies, create word processing documents, develop spreadsheets, formulate and design databases, make electronic presentations, use desktop publishing concepts, along with the integration of internet skills using appropriate software.

Upon completion of this course, they are prepared to test for Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) industry standard (Associate) certification to receive a performance acknowledgment for the Business and Industry Endorsement.

In addition to the regular course curriculum, students in this honors course will complete projects used in the business and industry environment.
