I am Mrs. Brookins the Dyslexia Teacher at Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary. I grew up in Fort Worth and attended FWISD schools. I continued my education and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington. This is my 22nd year teaching in Fort Worth ISD and my 5th year at Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary. I have been married to my husband for 32 years! We have 2 adult children, both are graduates from the University of North Texas.
