Mrs. Adams' 2020 -2021 Third Grade Science and Social Studies Class

Welcome to our class!

Hello Families and Scholars!

I am so happy and excited to announce that I will be your science and social studies teacher this 2020-2021 school year! My name is Anna Adams, and this is my third year teaching third grade. I first became a part of the LBC family while attending Texas Woman’s University in Denton and completed my student teaching here fall of 2015. Then I was hired to work as a second grade teacher on campus January – May 2016. For the next two years, I was a second grade teacher at Uplift Summit International Preparatory, a charter school in Arlington, TX where I created my classroom lessons and experiences based on International Baccalaureate (IB) practices. I am so happy to be back with the LBC family! As a resident of the Fairmount Neighborhood, I enjoy being a member of the same community of families and scholars I meet in my classroom and campus.

I am looking forward to getting to know you and working as a team to ensure that this year is a positive and successful one!

My email address is anna.adams@fwisd.org and I will be sure to respond within 24 hours if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

I am looking forward to all the fun, memories, adventure, and progress that will be made this year with you! See you soon!

Students learn about the lives of heroic men and women who made important choices, overcame obstacles, sacrificed for the betterment of others, and embarked on journeys that resulted in new ideas, new inventions, new technologies, and new communities. Students expand their knowledge through the identification and study of people who made a difference, influenced public policy and decision making, and participated in resolving issues that are important to all people.
