Evelyn Ortega, MBA, PhD(c)

Mrs. Ortega teaches 4th grade writing and science at Western Hills Elementary school. Mrs. Ortega was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended The University of Puerto Rico where she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Management. She also has an MBA and is a Ph. D. Candidate in Entrepreneurship and Business Development with a major in International Business. As she grew in the business world her love for teaching others became a high priority for her.

Mrs. Ortega is a person with a high appreciation of diversity and has a multicultural mind. As a bilingual educator, her primary goal is to help the students in their path to be successful at mastering the state curriculum requirements. She is a mother of 2 College students and loves to travel and connect with diverse people around the world.

She has been teaching at Western Hills Elementary School since the 2017-2018 school year.
