Meet Your Teacher!
Hello everybody!
My name is Mr. Lowery, and I will be your reading and writing teacher this year. I'm looking forward to meeting you all in person and virtually, and helping us all be successful this school year.

I have been a teacher here in Fort Worth ISD for 11 years, 6 here at Woodway. I graduated from Tarleton State University, where I majored in Literature and minored in Spanish. I love sports, and enjoy cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. I live in Mansfield with my dog Buddy (see picture below) and girlfriend Hollie. I enjoy riding my bicycle when I am not walking Buddy around my neighborhood or the park. I also love to garden, and make salsa from my pepper and tomato plants.

Mi nombre es Sr. Lowery y seré su maestro de lectura y escritura este año. Espero conocerlos a todos en persona y virtualmente, y ayudarnos a todos a tener éxito este año escolar.
He sido maestro aquí en Fort Worth ISD durante 11 años, 6 aquí en Woodway. Me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de Tarleton, donde me especialicé en Literatura y en español. Me encantan los deportes y disfruto animar a los Dallas Cowboys y los Texas Rangers. Vivo en Mansfield con mi perro Buddy (ver imagen abajo). Disfruto andar en bicicleta cuando no estoy paseando a Buddy por mi vecindario o el parque. También me encanta cultivar un huerto y hacer salsa con mis plantas de pimiento y tomate.
