About Me

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I am a proud Steelers fan, but I am slowly learning to like the Cowboys…

Though to be honest, I’m not that interested in football. I have always preferred biology, because it is all around us. Although it can be difficult, biology connects us with the world. My favorite part of biology is learning about the human brain (and of course all the cute animals, specifically sea slugs and koalas). Before joining Eastern Hills, I have been working in various capacities in education since 2015, teaching preschoolers, adults, and students of various ages in between. I graduated from Yale University in 2019 with a degree in psychology and a certificate in education studies. Most recently, I helped organize an academic competition called the World Scholar’s Cup. Beyond biology, I also like painting, playing tennis, and singing out of tune.

Pero honestamente, a mi no me interesa mucho el fútbol americano. Siempre he preferido la biología porque está en todos lugares. Aunque puede ser difícil, la biología nos conecta con todo el mundo. Mi tema favorito de la biología es el cerebro humano (y por supuesto los animales lindos, como las babosas de mar y los koalas). Antes de venir a Eastern Hills, yo trabajaba en el área de educación desde el 2015, enseñando a chiquitos, adultos, y estudiantes de todas edades. Me licencié en psicología de la Universidad de Yale con una certificación de educación. Recientemente, organice competencias académicas para el World Scholar’s Cup. Aparte de la biología, me gusta pintar, jugar al tenis y cantar desafinado.
