I was born in Cuba in 1969 in a small town west of Havana, the same year Americans astronauts landed on the moon for the first time.

I came to the US in 1995 on Christmas eve, I tough Physics in Florida for almost 6 years, and moved to Fort Worth in the summer of 2007. I tough Physics at O. D. Wyatt High School for 9 years, and became a STEER member in 2017.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education in the fields of Physics, and Astronomy, and I hold a Texas certification on Physical Sciences k-12.

I am married and a father of two incredible boys.  My faith in God and my Family are the two more important things in my life, but teaching,  science, and technology is my passion wish I enjoy a lot, and I hope you may also do one day. If I have to choose a role model, it would be the Cuban national hero Jose Marti who said once: "Ser Cultos para ser libre" (Freedom comes with education)
