Hello! My name is Mr. Aguilar. I'm looking forward to starting my 20th year of teaching. This will be the start of my 14th year at Rufino Mendoza Elementary. I have taught grades 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, being in either Regular Program or Dual Language.

I am married to my wife Veronica and we have two awesome kids. My daughter Kaelee is attending Stephen F. Austin State University and plays Fastpitch Softball and my son Alex is in the 8th Grade and plays Baseball. I love and enjoy watching both of my kids playing on most weekends for their Select Fastpitch and Select Baseball Tournament Teams. When I am not at the ball fields, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, reading, and watching MLB baseball, with my favorite team being the New York Yankees.
