Please Print out the following form and fill it out. Have your athlete return it to the head coach of their sport by noon on day of contest. Forms will not be accepted after this time. This need to be filled out if you want to take your child home from their event for a family emergency or extenuating circumstance only.
The standard definition normally applied to the term “athlete” is an individual who competes in one or more sports that involves physical strength, speed, or endurance; however, at McLean Middle School (MMS), we believe an athlete is so much more than this. An athlete is an individual who is willing to work hard by giving all of their effort to be the best version of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. An MMS athlete understands that they will encounter obstacles, but their response to these challenges delivers a unique opportunity to improve their entire being.

Girls - cross country, volleyball, basketball, track, soccer
Boys - cross country, football, basketball, track, soccer
****Soccer is for 8th grade athletes only. No exceptions!
Updated physical dated May 1, 2023 or later due prior to the first day of tryouts (download link to the left).
Completion of online UIL forms via RankOne. Visit www.rankonesport.com to complete.
No pass no Play - all students must remain academically acceptable (70 or above in all classes) to be eligible to participate.
